These exquisite tiles were primarily utilized in commercial leaded transoms to enhance ambient light during a time when electricity was not yet common. This particular tile pattern features an eye-catching crosshatch design that interacts with light - creating a stunning visual effect from different angles.

This tile showcases the artistry of the American Luxfer Prism Company, one of the leading prismatic tile manufacturers of its time. Luxfer often combined graphic diamonds and pinwheels in their transoms, making this tile a significant piece of architectural history. Dimensions: 4" x 4", with a pattern on both sides.
